Teaching Experiences
This page is filled with the projects and lessons I have planned and helped facilitate in my Early Field Experiences and extracurricular teaching experiences!
During the Nash Summer Art Camp, I assisted another instructor by managing a classroom of 15 diverse students from grades 3-5. I prepared demonstrations and lesson materials to help facilitate an efficient learning environment. I also guided students using problem-solving methods.
During my experience with Everyday Arts Lab, I co-taught a class of 15 first and second graders in an afterschool art program on a 6-person teaching team. I developed a 3 day lesson and assisted my co-teachers in facilitating their own lessons.
During my experience at PVO, I developed a short, themed curriculum and taught two classes of fifth and sixth grade students on my own.
During my experience at a local high school, my partner and I created a secondary-level lesson plan. This experience also consisted of many observations of secondary-level art courses.
